Business settings, scheduling lead time, and autosave
How Business Settings is organized
Your Business Settings page (the /pro/settings page) is where you set up everything about how your business runs in QuoFlow. It’s split into separate cards, each one covering a different area:
- Business Profile — your logo, brand color, business details, public link, and default quote terms.
- Pricing — the numbers your quotes are calculated from.
- Base Services — the services you offer and their rates.
- Add-on Library — extra options you can add to quotes.
- Scheduling — how far out you’re booking.
- Billing & Payments — your invoicing and payment settings.
You can scroll through all of them on one page. This article covers the Scheduling card and how saving works. For the other cards, see the related articles:
- Business Profile is covered in Set up your business profile and branding.
- Pricing, Base Services, and the Add-on Library are covered in the Quotes & Pricing articles.
- Billing & Payments is covered in the Billing & Payments articles.
Set your booking lead time
The Scheduling card has one setting: Lead Time. This is how far out you’re currently booking work, and it’s shown to customers on their quote so they know roughly when you could start.
To set it:
- Type a number in the box (for example,
2). - Choose Days or Weeks from the dropdown next to it.
So if you’re booking about two weeks out, enter 2 and pick Weeks.
A couple of things to know:
- The most you can enter is 365 days or 52 weeks. If you type a bigger number, QuoFlow trims it down to the limit.
- If you switch from Days to Weeks (or back) and your number is too big for the new unit, it gets adjusted to fit automatically.
How saving works (autosave)
There is no Save button anywhere in Business Settings — and that’s on purpose. Your changes save themselves as you go. How that happens depends on the type of control:
- Text boxes (like your business name or lead time) save when you tap out of the field.
- Sliders save when you finish dragging and let go.
- Switches save the instant you flip them.
Each card shows a small status indicator in its top corner:
- Saving… while it’s sending your change.
- Saved once it’s done.
- A red message if something went wrong saving that field.
If you see a “Synchronization Error”
If QuoFlow can’t load or sync your settings, a red Synchronization Error message appears at the top of the page. When you see it, some settings may not show correctly or may not save.
If this happens, refresh the page and check your internet connection. If it keeps happening, contact support.
