Your account and notifications
Your account details
Your account page is where you set your name and control how you appear to customers. Open it by going to My Account in the menu (this is the /pro/account page).
You’ll see three name fields you can edit:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Display Name — this is exactly how your name shows up to customers on quotes and in comments. If you want customers to see your business name or a friendly version of your name, put it here.
To change any of them:
- Tap the field.
- Type your change.
- Tap somewhere else (or tap out of the field) to save.
Each field saves on its own the moment you leave it. When it saves, a green “Account updated successfully” message pops up. There is no Save button — your changes are kept automatically.
Changing your email
Your Email is shown at the top of the account page, but it’s locked and can’t be edited. This is the email you sign in with.
If you need to change your sign-in email, contact support and they’ll update it for you.
Choosing which events email you
Under Email notifications on the same account page, you decide which events send you an email. There are five switches, and all five are on when you start:
- New leads — a customer requests a quote
- Quote viewed — a customer opens a quote you sent
- Quote accepted — a customer accepts your quote
- Quote declined — a customer declines your quote
- Customer messages — a customer sends you a message
Tap any switch to turn that email on or off. Your choice saves right away — no Save button needed. Turning a switch off only stops the emails; you’ll still see these events in the app.
The notification bell
At the top of the screen there’s a bell icon. This is your in-app inbox. When you have something new that you haven’t read yet, a small dot appears on the bell.
Tap the bell to open your notifications. Each item shows:
- The type of alert (for example, New Lead, Customer replied, Accepted, or Declined)
- A short message about what happened
- The date and time it happened
Tap any unread notification to mark it as read. It stays in the list but no longer counts as new.
At the bottom of the list you have two buttons:
- Mark all as read — clears the unread dot without removing anything from the list.
- Archive all — clears every notification out of your inbox. You’ll be asked to confirm first, and this can’t be undone.
When notifications update
While you’re signed in, QuoFlow checks for new notifications automatically about once a minute. You don’t need to refresh the page — new leads, replies, and quote updates will show up on their own.
