Create and send invoices

The Invoices page at a glance

Open Invoices to see everything about who owes you money. The page is split into three sections, each with a count next to its name so you can tell at a glance how much is waiting:

At the top of the page there’s a quick summary strip with three numbers:

Create an invoice from a completed job

When you finish a job, it shows up under Needs Invoice with the customer’s name, a short job summary, the address, and the total.

  1. Go to the Invoices page.
  2. Find the job under Needs Invoice.
  3. Tap Generate Invoice.

QuoFlow creates a draft invoice and opens it right away so you can review it before sending.

Pick up where you left off

If you started an invoice but didn’t send it, it won’t get lost. Unsent drafts show up at the very top of Needs Invoice with a DRAFT badge and a Continue draft link.

Tap Continue draft to reopen it and finish where you left off.

Edit a draft invoice

While an invoice is still a draft, you can change anything on it. Every edit saves automatically when you tap away from the field (there’s no separate Save button).

On the draft you can:

As you edit, the totals below (subtotal, discount, tax, and total) update automatically.

Send the invoice to your customer

When the invoice looks right:

  1. Tap Send to customer.
  2. A confirmation box appears letting you know the invoice goes out by email and text, and that the due date will be set to your configured due window (7 days by default).
  3. Tap Send to confirm.

Your customer gets a link to view their invoice, and the invoice moves into Open Invoices.

To change the default due window, see Configure billing and payments settings.
