Build and send a quote

Where quotes get built

Every quote starts from a lead. Open the Leads page, tap a lead in the list on the left, and its details open on the right. Below the lead’s information you’ll find the Interactive Quote Builder.

If you haven’t picked a lead yet, tap one first — the builder only shows once a lead is open.

The five steps

The builder walks you through five numbered sections, top to bottom.

1. Select Service

Tap the base service you’re quoting (for example House Wash or Roof Wash). You can only pick one service per quote. The first service in your list is selected for you to start.

If you don’t see the service you want, you can add it under Business Settings — see Set up your pricing.

2. Estimated Quantity

Type in how big the job is. The label tells you which unit to enter — square feet, linear feet, or a flat rate — based on the unit you set for that service. For a per-square-foot service you’d enter the square footage; for a flat-rate service the quantity is just a count.

3. Complexity & Stories

Tap 1 Story, 2 Story, or 3 Story for the height of the property. Taller buildings can raise the price if you’ve set story multipliers.

Below the story buttons are your risk factors — things like steep roofs or heavy soiling. Every risk factor you’ve set up in your settings appears here as a switch. Flip on any that apply to this job; the ones you leave off don’t change the price.

4. Add-ons

These are your flat-fee extras. Tap any add-on to check it and include it in the quote. Tap again to remove it. Each shows its price, like +$50.

5. Estimated Job Time

Enter roughly how long the job will take and pick Hours or Days. This step is labeled (your notes) for a reason: it’s just for you. It is not saved on the quote and the customer never sees it. The real job length gets set later, on the work order when you schedule it. If you reopen a saved quote, this field will be blank again — that’s expected.

Watching the Running Total

As you fill in the steps, the Running Total at the bottom updates live so you always see the price. Here’s how it’s figured:

When the job is small

If the base comes out below your Minimum Trip Fee, the builder rounds it up to that floor. When that happens you’ll see a +$X Trip Fee badge next to the total, and the finished quote gets a “Minimum trip fee adjustment” line so the math is clear to the customer.

Sending it

When you’re ready, tap Finalize & Send Quote. This one button creates the quote and sends it to the customer in a single step — there’s no separate save-then-send.

The button stays greyed out until you’ve picked a service and entered a quantity greater than zero. Once it sends, a short message pops up confirming the quote went out, with its quote number (for example “Quote #1042 sent”).

After the quote is saved, the builder shows the customer link near the bottom, in the form /quote/{token}. That’s the page the customer opens to review the quote and either accept or decline it. They don’t need an account or a password — the link is all they need.
